ISSUE NO.01 - ALL NEW OPTIMA
BORN TO IMPRESS

BORN TO IMPRESS

Optima was always a car which surprised and impressed the car industry.
New generation was not going to be an exception.
This car was born to impress.

36 Months

Development of the new Optima began in July 2012,
two years after the release of the 3rd generation Optima
and lasted 36 months.

The First

'The 1st of Its Kind' is one of the most frequently used
expressions to describe the new Optima. First, the new Optima comes
equipped with many innovative features including a wireless phone charger,
which gives the driver one thing less to worry about.

Detail & Design

Kia Motors launched the 'Design Kia' campaign many years ago
and now designs new models through an internal competition between
design centers located around the world.

Various Choices

More choices mean greater opportunity for delivering satisfaction.
The new Optima is a midsize sedan with two face design options (standard and Sport)
and five engine choices.

The 4th

Evolution

Although it may sound counter intuitive, it is much more difficult to produce a
next-generation model of an existing vehicle than to develop
a new model from scratch because of the pressure to make improvements
upon the existing model.

Already Impressing

The world is acknowledging the outstanding standard presented by the All-New Optima.
There was no compromise between design and safety.

DESIGN

Good design is essential. Top design organizations have
awarded Optima with its prestigious design awards.
